What is Referencing?
Referencing is where you acknowledge all the information that you use in your works or assignments. It give the credits to the writers or researchers for quotes and ideas you use. At the end of your assignment, you will have a Reference List containing all the citation you used. Servite College uses the American Psychological Association (APA) 6th Edition as the referencing style.

Why Reference?
To prevent Plagiarism. Presenting others works or ideas as your own is called Plagiarism. It may result the grade reduction or failure on an assignment. Referencing will help you to provide authority for statements you make in your works or assignments.
