Servite Prayer
Hospitality

Hospitality is the value that we try to live by modelling our St Clelia this year.
Being hospitable means -
- given to generous and cordial reception of guests
- promising or suggesting generous and cordial welcome
- offering a pleasant or sustaining environment
- readily receptive : open to new ideas
So now let us reflect how can we as a person, class and college are hospitable?
Today
We give a generous reception of our guests.
We welcome a new person and befriend and accept them.
Let us listen to the story of someone or help someone
Let us be open to new ideas - Not that we have to accept them and change to them, but are we open to seeing things from a different point of view than our own.
Prayer
Jesus, You told us to be welcoming of the stranger and the foreigner. Help us to look out for the neglected or rejected or lonely person in our midst. Grant us your grace to look to the needs of those who have no voice, or whose voice is ignored. Amen.
