Religious beliefs and teachings give expression to the way of life promoted by each religion. Through the study of a particular religion’s beliefs or teachings people gain not only an understanding of these beliefs and teachings but also what religion is about and what it means to be religious.

Catholic Social Teaching is the Catholic doctrines on matters of human dignity and common good in society.
