How a religion responds to a current social justice issue.

 

Religions can play an important role in responding to injustice. A number of factors will influence how a particular religion responds to any current social justice issue. These factors include such things as the features of the actual social justice issue, how people experience the injustice, what the religion believes and teaches, and how people from that religion experience and see the issue.

Key Terms

Morality is concerned with right conduct or the distinction between right and wrong. 

Ethics refers to a system of moral principles by which human actions and proposals may be judged good or bad, right or wrong. 

Conscience is a person's most inner core and sanctuary where they listen to God's voice
