The Surf Board Relays - Looked Fun

OLS Provided Some Super Swimmers

On Wednesday February 8, the staff and students went to HBF Stadium (Arena Joondalup) to compete for the ultimate prize - the Priory Shield. Throughout the day students competed in 50m events, 25m events and relays for the chance to carry the shield with pride. The Grenville Award for novelty events was also up for grabs with both water and land based team challenges for students to prove which Priory had the strongest cooperation and most collaborative sense of team spirit. 

It was the first time Servite College had been to HBF Stadium, with a change in the usual program, however overall it was a great success.

Thank you to the students that went above and beyond today - by swimming in higher year levels, for being the reserve swimmer, for swimming their hardest and for those that assisted as student helpers. Much appreciated. 

• A big thank you to all the parents, siblings and friends that came to motivate students along. 
• A big thank you to all the staff - for your endless efforts to fill events, manage events and general running of the day. 
• Lastly thank you to the PE department for being such a great team. 

We look forward to seeing the final results for the day and finding out our champions for each year level.
