The Seven Holy Founders and Saints of the Order: Home

Student guide to our Servite Saints

Our Seven Holy Founders began our order in 1233 as seven businessmen who dedicated their lives to the service of others. Living in community they worked in the local hospital helping the poor and those suffering. As Servants of Mary they continually worked to model their lives on the example of Mary, compassionate to all those they met and courageous in all they did. Like Mary they also knew how prayer would help them grow both personally and as a community

What spoke to you in the story of the Seven Holy Founders?

Our founders teach us the importance of living in COMMUNITY, dedicating ourselves

to the SERVICE of others and reflecting the qualities of MARY as we grow to become

all God created us to be.

Which value/s do you try and model and uphold in your everyday life? How?

Which value would you like to continue growing?
