Teachers, Sara and Emma from Ashhurst School in New Zealand, explain how they plan their lessons for a flipped classroom including how they make their instructional videos.
What Is The Flipped Classroom
The lecture and homework elements of a course are reversed.
Typically, short video lectures are viewed by students at home before the class session, while in-class time is devoted to exercises, projects, or discussions.
It does NOT have to happen with video - but when you're doing some learning prior to the lesson that's a form of flipped learning
Flipped learning is not some new concept - Tertiary education have been doing it for years that you have your readings before a class.
